Work Package 2

WP2 involves the development and implementation of skills-oriented curricula in the field of energy efficiency and decarbonization of maritime transport and port logistics. The process begins with an initial skills assessment for the private sector on energy efficiency and decarbonization of maritime transport and port logistics, which is organized in a skill matrix that is useful for assessing the current state among private stakeholders for updating and/or designing new and improved courses. The preliminary study will lead to the verification of revised and modernized HND, BSc, and MSc courses for students at the university level, as well as the verification of LLL training programs for professionals seeking upskilling and reskilling on maritime decarbonization and energy efficiency in the MT&L sectors. The aim is to create innovative teaching methodologies and achieve the learning outcomes. The development of teaching material (e-materials) will be useful for reaching a more effective achievement of the learning outcomes, defining new tools and techniques to be implemented in the courses, and ensuring sound delivery to a wider group of students and professionals.
